Protests erupted at Columbia University in New York City as tensions over the Israel-Palestine conflict spilled onto the campus grounds. Fox News contributor Joey Jones highlighted the rise of “vicious antisemitism” across universities and within the Democratic Party during a discussion on ‘The Big Weekend Show.’

Senator Ted Cruz, R-Texas, condemned the shift towards anti-Israel sentiment within the Democratic Party, attributing it to cultural Marxism and indoctrination in universities. The situation escalated further when a student at Yale University was reportedly stabbed in the eye during an anti-Israel protest.

The violence and hostility were not limited to physical attacks, as editor-in-chief Sahar Tartak of the Yale Free Press was taunted and assaulted by protesters while covering an anti-Israel demonstration.
