Sean “Diddy” Combs and his mother Janice made a public appearance at the 2023 MTV Awards amidst a storm of controversy surrounding the musician. In a statement released by Janice Small Combs, she vehemently defended her son, calling the allegations against him “lies” and expressing her devastation at the situation. She acknowledged that Combs has made mistakes in the past, but insisted that he is not the monster portrayed in the media.
The statement, issued by her lawyer Natlie G Figgers, came in response to the revelation that Combs could face lawsuits from over 100 additional accusers for alleged sexual assault, rape, and sexual exploitation. Despite the mounting legal challenges, Combs’ legal team has denied all charges, labeling them as “false and defamatory.”
