NFL legend Terrell Davis was involved in a shocking incident on a United Airlines flight on July 13, where he was taken off the plane by the FBI. The Denver Broncos Hall of Famer was handcuffed after a dispute with a flight attendant over a simple request for a cup of ice for his son.

Davis explained that he lightly tapped the flight attendant’s arm to get his attention for the ice, but the attendant reacted aggressively, accusing Davis of hitting him. The situation escalated, and Davis was eventually taken off the plane in handcuffs upon landing.

The video of the incident shows an FBI agent speaking with Davis, who eventually gets up from his seat and is escorted off the plane. It is unclear whether Davis was handcuffed during this interaction.

After the incident, law enforcement determined that the flight attendant’s account of the events was inaccurate, and they apologized to Davis. United Airlines also released a statement, stating that the flight attendant has been removed from duty as they investigate the incident.

Davis, 51, described the experience as a “disgusting display of injustice and deplorable treatment,” expressing his feelings of embarrassment and humiliation in front of his children and family. He is calling for United Airlines to be held accountable for the incident.
