Attendees at the Bludfest concert headlined by Yungblud in Milton Keynes were left frustrated and disappointed after waiting for hours in scorching hot weather to get into the venue. Some even fainted due to the extreme conditions.
Jessica Hedges, 21, shared her harrowing experience with the BBC, stating that she and her friend waited in line for hours, missing out on seeing their favorite acts perform. She described the scene as chaotic, with people fainting and vomiting from the heat.
Security staff were reportedly unhelpful and unsympathetic, leaving many concertgoers feeling neglected and frustrated. Justin Dack, 50, who attended the event with his family and friends, expressed his disappointment at missing out on seeing Nessa Barrett perform due to the long wait.
Despite the affordable ticket prices for the festival, priced below £50, the experience left a sour taste in the mouths of many attendees. The festival featured a lineup of popular artists, including Lil Yachty and The Damned.
Organisers of the event, AEG Presents, have yet to comment on the situation. This incident comes just a week after a stabbing occurred at another festival held at the same venue, raising concerns about safety and security at music events.
