Harry Styles fans have caused a stir at the Twemlow Viaduct, a Grade-II listed structure in Cheshire, after flocking to the site where the popstar reportedly had his first kiss. The viaduct has become a hotspot for fans who have been leaving their mark on the historic structure by scratching their names and messages into the bricks.

Network Rail, the owner of the viaduct, has taken action to protect the 183-year-old structure from further damage caused by the enthusiastic fans. A new wall with blank panels has been erected to provide a designated space for fans to leave messages to Harry Styles without harming the original structure.

Principal route engineer Rob Stephens emphasized the importance of treating the site with kindness while preserving its historic status. The move has been welcomed by the Holmes Chapel Partnership, which offers tours to the site as part of its Harry’s Home Village Tour.

Chairman Peter Whiers of the Holmes Chapel Partnership expressed excitement about the new wall, calling it an important step in protecting the heritage of the viaduct and raising the profile of Holmes Chapel as a tourist destination. The tour has gained popularity worldwide, attracting fans from countries such as Bangladesh, India, Australia, and Canada.

With fans from all over the world making the pilgrimage to Holmes Chapel, it seems that the Twemlow Viaduct will continue to be a cherished landmark for future generations, thanks to the efforts of Network Rail and the Holmes Chapel Partnership.
