The first qualifier round, held at the Dubai AI Campus on July 10, 2024, saw ten pre-qualified global startups pitch their innovative ideas to a panel of esteemed jury members.
Three standout startups – Momint, Nettle, and Orbii – have advanced to the grand finale scheduled for September 11 & 12, 2024. Momint was recognized for its innovative approach to accelerating clean energy, while Nettle, s.r.o. impressed with its AI-Powered Digital Humans for customer engagement. Orbii AI was honored for its intelligent AI models for faster credit decisions.
Naveen Bharadwaj, Group CEO of Trescon, highlighted the competition as a platform for innovators to showcase their ideas, gain exposure, and access capital while driving advancements in AI and Web3 technologies. The distinguished jury panel included industry leaders such as Hasan Fardan Al Fardan and Ian Arden.
Mohammed Saleem, Chairman of Trescon, emphasized the goal of supporting competent startups and founders with access to connections and investments to scale their businesses and solve real-world challenges. The ultimate winner of the FutureTech World Cup will receive a fully sponsored one-year Dubai AI Campus License and mentorship opportunities.
