Transgender golfer Hailey Davidson advances to next round of Q School in pursuit of LPGA Tour card
Transgender golfer Hailey Davidson has made headlines as she moves on to the next round of Q School in her quest for an LPGA Tour card. Davidson had to finish among the top 95 golfers at Rancho Mirage in California this week during the LPGA Q-Series: Pre-Qualifying Stage.
After finishing with a final round of 71 (1-under), Davidson’s four-round total was 284, landing her in a tie for 42nd place. She now advances to the qualifying tournament at Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, Florida, with hopes of securing a spot in the final qualifying tournament in December in Mobile, Alabama.
