The wedding of Dolly Lana Meckler and Jordan Scott Cohen was a sight to behold, with the main attraction being Dolly’s stunning Pucci gown that took over two years to create. The story behind the dress is just as captivating as the dress itself.

Dolly’s parents, described as “eccentric” artists, first spotted the dress at a Pucci store in Woodbury Common Premium Outlets in New York in February 2022. They sent Dolly a photo of the dress, igniting a spark that would eventually lead to her wearing it on her wedding day.

After getting engaged, Dolly couldn’t get the dress out of her mind. She searched everywhere for it and even reached out to the designer, Tomo Koizumi, in a desperate attempt to find it. Finally, she called the Woodbury Common’s Pucci store and luck was on her side – they had the dress in a box in the back room. Dolly purchased the dress and enlisted the help of seamstress Tati Kova, known for making Kim Kardashian’s Marilyn Monroe replica dress, to reconstruct the gown to fit her perfectly.

On May 11, Dolly walked down the aisle in the voluminous, ruffled gown, flashing its Pucci underlining to the awe of guests at Temple Emanu-El on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Her groom, Jordan Scott Cohen, also looked dashing in a black velvet Tom Ford tuxedo jacket and tie, a Ralph Lauren shirt, Giorgio Armani pants, and leather Louboutin loafers.

The couple’s love story is just as enchanting as the dress. They met on the dating app Hinge in July 2020 and immediately hit it off. Their second date involved to-go drinks, Chinese food, and board games in Dolly’s backyard. They bonded over their shared love for Central Park and even binge-watched “Sex and the City” together.

After a whirlwind romance, Jordan proposed in their backyard on July 15, 2023, and the couple tied the knot in front of 167 guests on May 11. The wedding was filled with love and joy, with Dolly changing into a red sequin gown to pay homage to her mother’s wedding attire.

The couple’s complementary connection was evident throughout the night, with Jordan describing Dolly as an Aries and himself as a Pisces, forming a perfect team. The wedding was a celebration of their love and the beginning of a beautiful journey together.
