Internet disruptions, caused by ISP filtering or physical damage to undersea cables, could also pose a threat to Bitcoin. However, services like Blockstream’s satellite feed provide alternative ways for users to connect to the network, ensuring its continued operation.

Overall, while Bitcoin is not invincible, its resilience in the face of potential threats is a testament to its design as a decentralized network. The likelihood of a catastrophic event taking down the network permanently is low, as Bitcoin has proven its ability to adapt and survive in the face of adversity.
