Tendulkar is ranked one of the world’s most admired sportsmen, alongside Messi and Ronaldo
Sachin Tendulkar has been voted the world's 12th "Most Admired Man."

According to a survey done by YouGov, an Internet-based market research and data analytics organisation, great cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has been voted the world’s 12th “Most Admired Man.”
To compile the list for this year’s study, almost 42,000 people were polled in 38 nations and territories.
Behind Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, Tendulkar is the third most famous sportsperson.
Former US President Donald Trump, Bollywood celebrities Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, and current India captain Virat Kohli all rank higher on the list but iconic batter ahead of them.
Tendulkar has worked with UNICEF for over a decade and was named the South Asian ambassador in 2013.
Tendulkar has backed many programmes in the fields of health, education, and sports in both rural and urban regions across India over the years.
