Love found on a dating app has led to a beautiful marriage for Alexandra Vasilia Voyatzakis and Pontus Mikael Henriksson. When Alexandra first saw Pontus on Bumble in the summer of 2018, she was hesitant due to her past dating experiences with “model-y types.” However, after giving him a chance in early 2019, the two quickly hit it off.
Their first date at Primo’s in Manhattan’s TriBeCa neighborhood lasted five hours, sparking a deep connection between the two. Despite some delays in their subsequent dates, they became exclusive on their fourth date and exchanged “I love you’s” in April. By May 2019, Pontus was spending every night at Alexandra’s apartment in Chelsea, solidifying their relationship.
Pontus, a revenue accounting operations manager at Spotify, proposed to Alexandra during a trip to the Hamptons in July 2021, using a ring they had designed together. The couple tied the knot on April 26 at the Office of the City Clerk in Manhattan, with plans for a larger celebration in Greece over Memorial Day weekend.
