President Biden’s biggest Democratic donors are also funding some anti-Israel protests that have taken over college campuses, according to a report by Politico. The donors contributing to both Biden and these protest groups include George Soros, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, David Rockefeller Jr., and Susan and Nick Pritzker, heirs to the Hyatt hotel empire.

Groups like Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow have organized protests on college campuses nationwide, including at Columbia University in New York City. These groups are supported by the Tides Foundation, which receives funds from Soros and the Gates Foundation. The Rockefeller Brothers Fund, with Rockefeller Jr. on its board, also gave $300,000 to the Tides Foundation in 2022.

The presence of anti-Israel protests on college campuses may impact Biden’s efforts to rally support from young voters leading up to the presidential election. Biden finally addressed the matter on Thursday, stating that there is no place for antisemitism or threats of violence against Jewish students in America.

The involvement of major Democratic donors in funding these protests adds a layer of complexity to the ongoing debate surrounding Israel and Palestine. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
