WWE Star Randy Orton Takes a Shot at LeBron James in NBA GOAT Debate
The debate over who is the greatest basketball player of all time continues to be a hot topic among sports fans. While Michael Jordan and LeBron James are typically the two names that come up in discussions, WWE star Randy Orton recently made his opinion clear – and it’s not in favor of LeBron.
During a sit-down interview with Cody Rhodes on the WWE’s YouTube channel, Orton didn’t hold back when asked about the James vs. Jordan debate.
“F–k LeBron,” Orton bluntly stated.
When pressed further about his thoughts on the GOAT in WWE, Orton expressed his belief that there isn’t one ultimate greatest of all time.
“I don’t think there is a GOAT… I like the Mount Rushmore. I like who’s your top 5, top 10, even top 20. But, the GOAT, I don’t think he exists,” Orton explained.
With 14 world title reigns under his belt, Orton is no stranger to success in the wrestling world. While he didn’t explicitly name Jordan as the NBA’s GOAT, his comments suggest that he may lean towards the Chicago Bulls legend over LeBron James.
Jordan, who won six NBA championships and is a six-time NBA Finals MVP, is widely regarded as one of the greatest basketball players of all time. On the other hand, James, a four-time NBA champion and four-time NBA Finals MVP, has also left a lasting impact on the sport.
Regardless of where fans stand on the NBA GOAT debate, Orton’s outspoken comments have certainly added fuel to the ongoing discussion.
