Pro-Trump Group Launches $500,000 Ad Campaign Targeting Vice President Kamala Harris Over Border Crisis
As Vice President Kamala Harris prepares to accept the Democratic nomination on Thursday, a pro-Trump group has launched a $500,000 ad campaign taking aim at her over her handling of the border crisis.
The conservative nonprofit Building America’s Future has released a one-minute ad that will appear on digital platforms in critical battleground states, including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. The ad questions Harris’ response to the border crisis, highlighting a now-infamous exchange she had with a reporter in 2021 where she chuckled and said, “Not today,” when asked about visiting the border.
The ad also references the record number of illegal immigrants crossing the border, including those on the terror watch list, and highlights the tragic murders of individuals such as Jocelyn Nungaray, Laken Riley, and Joselyn Toaquiza, placing blame on Harris as the so-called border czar.
The campaign, dubbed “#SayTheirNames,” will also feature mobile billboards and 2D projections at Harris campaign events in swing states, showcasing the gravestones of victims who have been murdered by illegal immigrants during the Biden-Harris administration.
Illegal immigration is seen as one of Harris’ biggest vulnerabilities going into the general election, and the Harris campaign has not yet responded to requests for comment on the ad campaign.
As the election season heats up, the issue of illegal immigration is likely to remain a key focus for both the Trump campaign and Harris as they vie for support in critical swing states.
