BTS is the biggest South Korean boyband group in the World, are also known as Bangtan Boys. The band consists of 7 members.
All BTS members — Jimin, Jin, J-Hope, Jungkook, RM, V, and Suga – only joined the social media platform Instagram a day before, and in just 24 hours, they had already beaten all records. These accounts have gained a total of 11 million followers.
V has once again proven why he is the world’s favourite. He reached one million followers, in just 40 minutes, according to the Free Press Journal. With this, the k-pop star has beaten Angelina Jolie’s record of reaching this milestone in the shortest period.
Kim Taehyung holds the world record for becoming the first person to reach 10 million Instagram followers within just 24 hours. Jennifer Aniston, the star of FRIENDS, previously held the record. The singer’s Instagram account currently has 22 million followers.
