New York City Couple Defends Selling Tickets to Their Wedding Experience
A New York City couple, Kareem (“Reemo”) and Nova Styles, who sold tickets to their wedding last June, have sparked debates on social media after videos recapping their 12-hour event recently went viral.
The couple defended their decision to sell $333 tickets for the “Styles Wedding Experience” to their guests, explaining that they had a 350-person guest list but only sent out 60 invites due to the dynamics of the day.
The wedding day began with a ceremony at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan, followed by a customized double-decker tour bus that brought guests to various locations for festivities, including Hudson Yards, a movie theater, and One World Trade Center.
While some criticized the couple for being “greedy” and “tacky,” others defended their unique approach, suggesting that selling tickets could be a new way to cut costs for weddings.
Despite the backlash, the Styles couple remains unbothered, with plans to use the money saved from selling tickets to start a family.
