Matt McBriar, one half of the popular dance music duo Bicep, has revealed that he is undergoing treatment for a rare brain tumour. The Belfast-born producer shared the news on his Instagram account, stating that he had surgery on August 9th to remove the non-cancerous tumour from his pituitary gland.
In a heartfelt post, McBriar explained that he had been experiencing intense headaches and fatigue towards the end of 2023, leading to a series of tests that ultimately revealed the tumour. Despite the challenging diagnosis, he expressed gratitude for catching the tumour early and emphasized the importance of early detection.
