Tennis Legend Martina Navratilova Questions Donald Trump’s Ear Bandage After Assassination Attempt
Tennis legend Martina Navratilova has joined the camp of skeptics who believe former President Donald Trump’s ear bandage following an assassination attempt in Pennsylvania is excessive. The severity of Trump’s injury after a would-be assassin tried to gun him down at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, has been questioned by some, including MSNBC host Ari Melber, who called the ear bandage a “spectacle.”
Navratilova responded to a post questioning the necessity of Trump’s ear bandage, stating that a friend who works at a trauma center said there was no need for such dressing unless a significant portion of the ear was damaged. She also suggested that the bandage was a PR stunt by Trump.
Donald Trump Jr. defended his father on “Fox & Friends,” criticizing MSNBC for questioning the validity of the injury. He emphasized that the assassination attempt was real and that his father had indeed been injured.
The bandage worn by Trump has also been seen on multiple delegates at the Republican National Convention, done in solidarity with the former president. Arizona delegate Joe Neglia explained that he wore the bandage to honor Trump and show unity with him.
The RNC saw many Republicans rallying behind Trump, thanking God for protecting him from the assassination attempt. The incident has sparked debate and speculation, with Navratilova and others questioning the extent of Trump’s injury and the motives behind the ear bandage.
