Reflecting on her career journey, Stewart shared that leaving her job on Wall Street led her to become a caterer before transitioning to writing her first book on entertaining in the 1980s. Despite her success, she felt the need to do more than just cater parties, leading her to explore new ventures and projects that would leave a lasting legacy.

Looking ahead, Stewart has a slew of projects in the works, including her autobiography, a documentary on Netflix directed by R.J. Cutler, a PBS documentary series, and a partnership with Samsung for an advertising campaign. She is also collaborating on a line of gardening clothes and accessories with French Dressing Jeans and Marquee Brands.
