The Houston Police Department has identified the man wanted in connection with the killing of a local attorney at a McDonald’s over the weekend. Anthony Martin Landry, 57, is wanted for murder in the shooting death of 46-year-old Jeffrey Limmer.

The tragic incident occurred at the McDonald’s located at 8147 Katy Freeway on May 4. Limmer was shot after he tried to deescalate a situation between an angry customer and the employees. The suspect, identified as Landry, allegedly retrieved a gun from his car and shot Limmer before fleeing the scene in a blue Ford pickup truck.

As of early Friday morning, Landry remains at large, prompting a city-wide search by law enforcement. Limmer’s family released a statement expressing relief that a suspect has been identified and urging the community to help bring him to justice.

Limmer was an associate at the Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP law firm in Houston, where he was a valued member of the General Liability Practice. The firm and the community are mourning his loss and seeking closure in this tragic event.

Houston police have released a previous booking photo of Landry and are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to his arrest. Anyone with tips on Landry’s whereabouts is urged to contact HPD’s Homicide Division or Crime Stoppers.

This senseless act of violence has shaken the community and serves as a reminder of the importance of coming together to ensure justice is served.
