Daniel Craig’s new film “Queer” made its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on Tuesday, receiving strong praise for his performance. The movie, based on the 1985 novel by William Burroughs, follows a man exploring the American expatriate community in 1950s Mexico.

Now, Craig’s film is set to have its British premiere at the London Film Festival, where it will be one of the headline galas. Alongside Craig, other Hollywood figures like Angelina Jolie, Zoe Saldaña, and Amy Adams will also have their latest works screened at the festival.

Jolie stars in “Maria,” a film about opera star Maria Callas, which is already generating Oscars buzz. Saldaña’s performance in “Emilia Pérez,” where she plays a high-powered lawyer helping a Mexican cartel leader, is also being touted for awards success.

Additionally, the festival will feature films like “Conclave,” based on the Robert Harris novel about selecting a new Pope, and “Nightbitch,” starring Amy Adams as a mother who may be turning into a canine.

With a lineup of 253 titles, including features, shorts, series, and immersive works, the London Film Festival promises to be a star-studded event running from October 9 to 20. Don’t miss the chance to see some of Hollywood’s finest on the big screen.
