JSW Energy, a leading player in the renewable energy sector, has made a significant stride in the solar energy space. The company’s subsidiary, JSW Neo Energy, has secured two major contracts to develop solar energy generation and storage plants.
The first contract, awarded by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), involves setting up a 500 MW ISTS-connected solar power project along with 250 MW / 500 MWh of energy storage systems. Additionally, JSW Neo Energy will be developing a 600 MW / 1,200 MWh energy storage system as part of this project.
The second contract, from Karnataka Renewable Energy Development, entails the development of a 300 MW solar power project at Pavagada Solar Park in Karnataka.
These contracts highlight JSW Energy’s commitment to expanding its presence in the renewable energy sector and contributing to India’s clean energy goals.
