Outlier Ventures and Morgan Creek Digital Join Forces to Launch LATAM Base Camp Accelerator Program
In a groundbreaking collaboration, Outlier Ventures and Morgan Creek Digital have announced the launch of the first LATAM Base Camp accelerator program. This 12-week virtual program is set to kick off in September, 2024, and aims to support and nurture the next generation of Web3 startups in Latin America.
The accelerator program will offer selected startups a capital injection of up to $200K, as well as invaluable mentorship from industry experts. With workshops led by subject matter experts from Outlier Ventures and Morgan Creek Digital, participants can expect to gain valuable insights and guidance to help them scale and succeed in the rapidly evolving Web3 ecosystem.
Latin America has seen a surge in the adoption of blockchain technologies, making it a prime location for such an initiative. Benjamin Meyer, Chief Growth Officer at Outlier Ventures, expressed his excitement about the program, stating, “The LATAM region is teeming with entrepreneurial spirit and innovation, and we are excited to support and scale the next generation of Web3 tech leaders.”
Applications for the LATAM Base Camp accelerator program are now open, welcoming startups at the forefront of technological and financial innovations. The program is designed to not only provide financial support but also strategic guidance in key areas such as product development, community building, and entity structuring.
Mark Yusko, Managing Partner of Morgan Creek Digital, highlighted the importance of supporting Web3 founders in Latin America, saying, “We are excited to deepen our partnership and develop an accelerator program specifically designed to support Web3 founders in Latin America who are driving innovation and addressing regional challenges and opportunities.”
The collaboration between Outlier Ventures and Morgan Creek Digital has already yielded successful results, with past LATAM alumni securing significant funding and making waves in the industry. The launch of a similar accelerator program in the MENA region later this year further demonstrates the commitment of both organizations to supporting and nurturing innovation in emerging markets.
