The Paris Olympics are in full swing, and Team USA is already making a splash with a total of 20 medals so far. While the Americans have secured three gold medals, they have also clinched eight silver and nine bronze medals.
Among the standout performances for Team USA include the men’s swimming 4×100 freestyle relay team consisting of Jack Alexy, Chris Guiliano, Hunter Armstrong, and Caeleb Dressel, who took home the gold. Torri Huske also claimed gold in the women’s swimming 100-meter butterfly, while Lee Kiefer triumphed in women’s fencing individual foil.
In the silver medal category, athletes such as Sarah Bacon and Kassidy Cook in women’s synchronized 3-meter springboard, and Jagger Eaton in men’s street skateboarding, stood out. Additionally, the women’s swimming 4×100 freestyle relay team and individual performances by Kate Douglass, Gretchen Walsh, and Simone Manuel added to Team USA’s silver medal count.
Team USA’s bronze medalists include Katie Ledecky in women’s swimming 400-meter freestyle, Nyjah Huston in men’s street skateboarding, and the men’s gymnastics team, among others.
