Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen speaks out on Stefon Diggs trade: ‘It’s the nature of the business’

In a recent press conference, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen opened up about the trade that sent his former teammate, Stefon Diggs, to the Houston Texans earlier this month. While Allen praised Diggs for his contributions to the team’s success over the past four years, he acknowledged that the decision was out of his hands.

“It’s definitely hard to part ways with a guy that’s been very instrumental in our success here over the last four years. And again, I can’t thank him enough for when he came in and how hard he worked and what he taught me along the years,” Allen said.

Despite the disappointment of losing Diggs, Allen expressed optimism about the opportunities that the change will bring to the team. He emphasized the need for the Bills offense to adapt in Diggs’ absence and highlighted the impact that the veteran wideout had on the team’s performance.

Diggs, who has consistently surpassed 1,000 yards in each of his past six seasons, was traded to the Texans in exchange for draft picks. The move marks the end of a successful partnership between Allen and Diggs, but Allen made it clear that their bond remains strong.

“I’ll always love that guy like a brother. And I wish him nothing but the best,” Allen said.

As the Bills prepare for the upcoming season, Allen’s focus remains on leading the team to success on the field. While the loss of Diggs is significant, Allen is determined to continue striving for excellence and guiding his teammates to victory.
