Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi has been hailed as a hero after he helped talk a woman off the ledge of a bridge in Nashville, Tennessee. The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department shared a video of the singer and his team assisting the distressed woman on the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
In the video, Bon Jovi can be seen approaching the woman, who was standing on the ledge over the Cumberland River. With the help of another woman, they were able to safely bring her back onto the bridge. The singer then embraced the woman in a hug before leaving the scene with her.
The police department praised Bon Jovi and his team for their quick actions in helping the woman in need. “It takes all of us to help keep each other safe,” said Chief John Drake in a statement.
Bon Jovi, who appeared to be in Nashville shooting a music video at the time, has received an outpouring of support and gratitude for his compassionate act. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of looking out for one another and offering help to those in distress.
