Is Bill Pulte Under Federal Investigation For Crypto Scams?

Perhaps you’ve heard of Bill Pulte. The grandson of the founder of Pulte Homes, a publicly traded company on the Fortune 500 list. Previously CEO of said company, Bill decided to migrate to venture capital instead, leaving Pulte Homes and founding Pulte Capital and the Bill Pulte Foundation, a charity. But Bill is probably best known as the self proclaimed inventor of “X Philanthropy” formerly known as Twitter. Through his twitter account he’s given out cars, cash, and more recently crypto to people in need or who say they are in need. It’s a truly heartwarming story and makes you want to love even admire the guy. But is there more to Bill than meets the eye?

Enter Zack token, a crypto token on the Solana blockchain run by Edward Constantinescu who goes by Zack Morris online. Edward or Eddie as he’s more commonly called, is currently facing an open case in the court of appeals over allegedly defrauding his followers of over $114 million, along with 7 co-defendants, in a scheme involving pumping and dumping stock tokens. Despite him and his crew constantly insisting the case was thrown out due to falsified evidence, a review of the actual dismissal ruling mentions nothing about anything wrong with the evidence. In fact the judge even says the conduct shows a lack of character but due to recent rulings in higher courts he didn’t think that simply deceiving people was enough to satisfy the fraud requirements. The DOJ is appealing the dismissal, but the investigation remains ongoing.

Enter Bill Pulte. The philanthropist you just want to love. Somehow he gets embroiled in the Zack token and starts heavily promoting it. Despite numerous warnings, one even from Binance itself, and piles of evidence it was a scam he continues to promote it anyways. Then he steps back so it seems as though he maybe saw the light. But somehow he was drawn back in. According to a comment by Jeremy Ryan, or NFT Demon, the largest NFT artist on the BNB Chain with another truly inspirational story, he tried letting Pulte know Eddie was a scammer and had even scammed him. Pulte responded, according to Ryan, that he didn’t want to get involved. But he hopped right back in anyway. Promoting and commenting on Zack posts.

Now enter the DOJ and SEC. Anyone familiar with the case of John Gotti or really even a rudimentary knowledge of how the federal government works would conclude that Eddie would still be under tight federal investigation. But an anonymous source within the DOJ reached out to us a couple of weeks ago and informed us that investigation now included a whole slew of other characters including Bill Pulte and Antonio Brown. In fact, Pulte can be seen asking Eddie what his post meant about a meeting with Amazon this past Monday. That post turned out to be a lie. Is Bill Pulte just that oblivious to the obvious signs? Or is he an insider, giving away money while also scamming his followers through promotion of scam tokens? We decided to ask the DOJ about this newly acquired information.

But first we decided to ask Bill Pulte. One week ago we sent an email to Pulte Capital asking for comment. As of today we have gotten no response. The DOJ and SEC (both who are still going after Eddie) did respond however. Unfortunately, their response was underwhelming. They both said that they don’t answer any questions about the existence of or nature of an ongoing investigation. The DOJ even linked me to a PDF on their media guidelines. But then I asked from a different email if they were investigating Eminem (someone I was sure was not under investigation). And their answer was inconsistent with the previous. They outright denied any complaints or investigations into the famous rapper.

So are the DOJ and SEC investigating Bill Pulte? Will he be the next to go down in the wave of indictments that are sure to follow this brazen scam? Or was the inconsistency in response due to the difference in people responding? I guess there is no way to know for sure. But I suppose a larger question would be why would someone like Pulte promote such an obvious scam? The developer bundling over 40% of the supply. The face of the token being under current prosecution for an extremely large scam and lying about falsified evidence. Surely Bill couldn’t be hurting for money. So what could be his motivation for seemingly throwing his reputation away? I guess some things only Bill will know. Nonetheless we will keep you updated as this story develops.
