“I feel like we might be ready to say goodbye to Spider-Man.”: Tom Holland hints exit from MCU

Tom Holland who is the the face of Spider-man for the Marvel Cinematic Universe has hinted that he might be ready to leave MCU. He has worked in 6 Marvel movies, starting from Captain America: Civil war in 2016. The actor has received huge appreciation for his Spider-man trilogy. The actor is recently seen in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
In an interview with People, the British actor had hinted that maybe it’s time for him to part ways from MCU. “I’ve loved every minute of it. I’ve been so grateful to Marvel and Sony for giving us the opportunity and keeping us on and allowing our characters to progress. It’s been amazing. And that’s why for me, I don’t want to say goodbye to Spider-Man — but I feel like we might be ready to say goodbye to Spider-Man,” he said.
“I don’t want to be responsible for holding back the next young person that comes in who deserves it just as much so,” Tom said. Sharing his thoughts on the future of the franchise, Tom hopes the Spider-Man universe expands and incorporates different Spidey characters. He added.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is huge blockbuster as it earned ₹32.67 crore on day 1, recording the biggest opening day collection of 2021.
