Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker has once again made headlines for speaking out about his religious beliefs as they relate to women’s reproductive rights. In a recent post, Butker implored former President Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance, to defend the unborn, in apparent disagreement with Trump’s stance on reproductive rights.

Butker, known for his strong Catholic beliefs, shared a screenshot of Trump’s statement on Truth Social, where the former president claimed his administration would be great for women and their reproductive rights. Butker, however, believes that all life is valuable and there can be no compromise when it comes to defending the unborn.

The kicker addressed his message directly to Vance, urging him to bring the Republican Party back in line with the foundational platform that values all life. Butker also shared a quote from Father Chad Ripperger, indicating that he does not necessarily agree with all of Trump’s beliefs.

Butker’s strong stance on abortion and defending the unborn is not new. During the Chiefs’ visit to the White House last year, he wore a tie with the Latin phrase “Vulnerari Praesidio,” meaning “Protect the most vulnerable,” and a gold pin representing the size of a 10-week-old baby’s feet.

In a commencement speech at Benedictine College in May, Butker criticized President Biden’s stance on abortion as “delusional,” stating that unborn babies are the greatest victims of society. His outspoken views have garnered attention, with his jersey sales skyrocketing shortly after his speech.

Butker’s unwavering commitment to his beliefs has not gone unnoticed, and his message continues to resonate with fans and followers alike.
