Google Photos has launched a new feature for online users called Memories

In Google Photos, the Memories feature highlights photos and videos in an Instagram-style story format

For the Web, Google is providing memories, which includes two photos. In Google Photos, the Memories feature highlights photos and videos in an Instagram-style story format.
Google Photographs users will see a Carousel of photos and videos with the new memories feature. When you click the carousel, it will expand to reveal stories like this, with each photo and video taking 10 seconds to load. This feature was first introduced in October, while it is already accessible for users of the mobile app, now it is being rolled out to users of the app on the web.

Users can also use the down arrow at the bottom of the screen or use the down key. The user can manually scroll through the highlights by expanding them into a list of boxes. In addition, the user’s phone settings will be shared on the web, which implies that settings will be synchronised between mobile and online devices. Similarly, on the web carousel, people or dates buried in mobile memories will not appear.

Google announced the locking functionality for non-pixel users earlier this month. The function was first announced in June of this year, enabling users to remove specific photographs and videos from the app’s primary grid search. According to Google, users will not be able to snap screenshots when within the protected folder in Google Photos. Users will only be able to perform two actions for such photos. They have the option of deleting or moving them from the locked folder.
