Street artist Banksy continues to surprise and delight Londoners with his latest mural, the eighth in just eight days. This time, the elusive artist has depicted a rhino mounting a Nissan Micra with a traffic cone on its bonnet in Charlton, south-east London.
The new artwork comes hot on the heels of Banksy’s previous creations, including swimming piranhas on a City of London Police sentry box and a howling wolf on a garage roof in Peckham. Each piece in this animal-themed series has drawn crowds and sparked excitement across the capital.
However, not all of Banksy’s works have had a happy ending. The howling wolf artwork was recently removed by unknown individuals, much to the disappointment of fans. Despite this setback, Banksy’s press team has clarified that the artist does not endorse the theft of his designs and has no knowledge of the current whereabouts of the stolen piece.
As Banksy’s latest mural captures the attention of passersby in Charlton, it’s clear that the mysterious artist’s influence continues to grow. With each new creation, Banksy leaves a lasting impression on the city and its residents, sparking conversations and inspiring creativity.
