Democratic nominee Rep. Colin Allred, who is running in Texas’ Senate race against incumbent Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, has been accused of election denialism despite his own history of questioning the legitimacy of election outcomes.

In a recent appearance on CNN, Allred criticized Cruz for not directly stating whether he would accept the results of the upcoming election, calling him a danger to democracy. However, it has been revealed that Allred himself has openly suggested that future election outcomes may need to be questioned.

During various appearances and statements, Allred has raised concerns about election legitimacy, citing issues such as foreign interference, hacking of election databases, and the need for paper trails on electronic voting machines. He has warned of election subversion in both the 2022 midterm elections and the 2024 elections.

When asked by Fox News Digital if he would accept the outcome of the 2024 election, Allred’s campaign offered no response. However, a spokesperson for his campaign pointed to Cruz’s actions on January 6th as evidence of election overturning, stating that Texans will hold him accountable in the upcoming election.

The race between Allred and Cruz is heating up as both candidates face scrutiny over their views on election integrity. Stay tuned for more updates from the 2024 campaign trail on Fox News Digital.
