The Sanders family is making waves both on and off the football field, with Colorado safety Shilo Sanders set to showcase his acting skills in the season finale of Starz’s “BMF.” The son of Hall of Famer and head coach Deion Sanders, Shilo will portray his father in an episode aptly named “Prime Time.”
The show is based on the notorious crime family of brothers Demetrius “Big Meech” and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, who rose to infamy in Detroit. Deion Sanders and Big Meech crossed paths during Deion’s playing days in Atlanta, with the gangster frequenting Deion’s club, “Prime Time 21.”
Deion took to Instagram to express his pride in Shilo’s performance, stating, “Guess who’s playing a young PRIME! I’m so proud of @shilosanders he did the Doggone THANG! Good Lawd the SANDERS boys are exercising all the gifts that GOD gave them and having fun living this life that we only get 1 shot at. Live kids Live.”
In addition to Shilo’s acting debut, the Sanders family has been keeping busy off the field, with Shilo’s brother Shedeur, a star quarterback for Colorado, releasing a rap single titled “Perfect Timing.” While Shedeur’s music received mixed reviews, Shilo has been focusing on his football career, recording a career-high 67 tackles and a crucial interception returned for a touchdown.
Despite the Sanders family’s off-field endeavors, the Colorado Buffaloes faced a rollercoaster season on the gridiron, starting strong with three wins but ultimately losing eight of their final nine games. As Shilo continues to excel in both football and acting, the Sanders family’s star power shows no signs of dimming.
