UFC President Dana White to Speak at 2024 Republican National Convention
Dana White, the president and CEO of the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship), is set to take the stage at the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. White, a successful businessman who has overseen the growth of the UFC to a multi-billion dollar enterprise, is a vocal supporter of former President Donald Trump.
White, who has been friends with Trump for years, is scheduled to introduce the former president at the convention following remarks from Hulk Hogan and Eric Trump. The UFC president’s appearance comes just days after a lone gunman opened fire during a Trump campaign rally in Pennsylvania, injuring the former president.
In response to the shooting, White took to social media to express his shock and support for Trump. He also donated $50,000 to a GoFundMe page authorized by Trump for the victims of the rally shooting, with the UFC contributing an additional $50,000.
Before heading to Milwaukee, White enjoyed a few days in Sardinia, Italy. The UFC president’s appearance at the convention is expected to draw attention from both political and sports fans alike, as he continues to be a prominent figure in both worlds.
