Colorado CEO charged with assault after allegedly strangling teen at In-N-Out restaurant
A Colorado CEO has been charged with assault after allegedly strangling a teenage boy at an In-N-Out restaurant in Loveland. The incident occurred on August 4th when 55-year-old Lucas Kalisher got into a brawl with a teen who was reportedly horsing around and splashing water on his friends.
According to the Loveland Police Department, officers were called to the scene of the popular west coast fast food restaurant after reports of a fight inside. Witnesses said that Kalisher grabbed the teen, placed both hands around his neck, and threw him to the floor.
The teen had approached a woman at a nearby table to apologize for splashing water on her when Kalisher intervened. The CEO left the restaurant before police arrived but later turned himself in after being identified through witness accounts and video footage.
Kalisher has been charged with a felony count of second-degree strangulation and a misdemeanor count of child abuse. He was arraigned on Wednesday and is the CEO of Summit Source Funding LLC in the Denver area.
The Loveland Police Department thanked the community for their assistance in identifying Kalisher and emphasized the importance of working together as one team. The incident serves as a reminder of the need for respect and restraint in public spaces.
