Chris Hansen, host of TruBlu’s “Takedown” on FOX Nation, conducted a predator sting last month that led to the arrest of five suspects, over two days, who were allegedly caught soliciting a minor for sex — three of whom were in the United States illegally. Hansen worked with the Blount County Sheriff’s Office in Alabama to pose as an undercover “aunt” offering to sell her niece for sex in online chats with the suspects.
The suspects, who were from Honduras and Guatemala, used translator apps to have graphic conversations about the sexual acts they wanted to engage in with the child. They worked in construction and landscaping, often employed by unsuspecting families. When the suspects arrived at the “sting house” to meet with the supposed aunt and niece, they were met by Hansen and law enforcement officials who revealed themselves and questioned the suspects about their actions.
Two of the suspects, Garson Chilol and Henry Lopez, arrived at the home together and claimed they did not have much money to offer for sex with the teenage niece. However, authorities found $1,500 in their wallets when they were arrested. The suspects were charged with solicitation by computer, human trafficking, and traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act.
Sheriff Mark Moon emphasized the need for better border security, stating that the open border process is affecting the entire nation. He highlighted the importance of scrutinizing who is allowed to enter the country to prevent criminal activity tied to illegal immigration. Hansen’s efforts in conducting these predator stings shed light on the dangers posed by individuals seeking to exploit minors and the need for stricter enforcement measures.
