The Proof of Workforce Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting education-based Bitcoin adoption among workforce organizations, has announced the addition of two new members to its Board of Directors. Ajit Singh, Chief Investment Officer of the Houston Firefighters Relief and Retirement Fund, and Raphael Zagury, Chief Investment Officer of Swan Bitcoin, bring a wealth of experience in both Bitcoin and traditional finance to the Foundation.

Singh, who previously managed the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund, expressed his excitement about joining the Board, stating, “Bitcoin was created for everyday workers, with its greatest attributes discovered through meaningful learning. Proof of Workforce is well-equipped as a reliable resource for any organization, institution, state or city, in pursuit of a strong and healthy workforce.”

Zagury, known for creating The Nakamoto Portfolio, an open-source software tool that demonstrates Bitcoin’s impact on fund portfolios, also shared his enthusiasm for joining the Board. “This dynamic addition to our Board of Directors positions us as a high-level, global resource for any pension fund, labor union, workforce organization or government body interested in meaningful, education-based, Bitcoin adoption,” said Proof of Workforce Founder and President, Dom Bei.

The Foundation has already made significant strides in promoting Bitcoin adoption, assisting organizations like the Vacaville Firefighters and the Salvadoran firefighters association, AproBomberos, in holding Bitcoin on their balance sheets. With a diverse Board of Directors that includes prominent Bitcoiners from various industries, the Proof of Workforce Foundation continues to be a leading advocate for Bitcoin adoption in the workforce.
