Brad Kella, a 23-year-old musician from Bootle, Merseyside, has captured the hearts of many with his incredible talent and inspiring journey to success. His big break came when producers of the talent show, The Piano, discovered a video of him playing the piano at a shopping center in Liverpool One.

Despite facing challenges such as leaving his GCSEs as a teenager and not being able to read sheet music, Brad’s potential shone through, earning him a scholarship to the prestigious Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA). His debut single, Eve And Frank, is dedicated to his foster parents who have supported him along the way.

Brad’s appearance on The Piano, where he impressed judges Lang Lang and Mika with his original song, led to him winning the second series of the show. He has since signed a contract with Liverpool-based label Modern Sky and is set to release his debut album in the new year.

Reflecting on his journey, Brad shared, “I was 13 when I first saw a piano, now I’m 23, so I feel like I was born to do it.” His passion and dedication to music have taken him far, and he will be showcasing his talent at the upcoming Labour Party Conference in Liverpool, highlighting the importance of the UK’s creative sector.

With a bright future ahead of him, Brad Kella is a rising star in the music industry, proving that with hard work and determination, dreams can become a reality.
