Adele’s Las Vegas residency will reach its 100th and final show in November, as the superstar singer plans to take an extended break from music. After completing her 90th show at Caesar’s Palace, Adele revealed that she is feeling emotionally drained and in need of a big break.
The singer shared with German broadcaster ZDF that she has no plans for new music and wants to explore other creative endeavors for a while. Despite the success of her residency, Adele admitted that the limelight has been a struggle for her and that she misses the anonymity of her pre-fame days.
In a recent incident at one of her Vegas shows, Adele angrily scolded an audience member who made a disrespectful comment, showing that even the biggest stars can be easily riled up. However, Adele’s interaction with fans has been a highlight of her residency, and she is looking forward to her upcoming 10-date residency in Munich.
The Munich shows will be on a much larger scale, with 74,000 fans expected to attend each night in a specially-built stadium. The venue will also feature an “Adele experience” with various attractions for fans to enjoy. Adele expressed her excitement for the upcoming shows and the massive video screens that will enhance the fan experience.
Despite the upcoming residency, tickets are still available, with 5% of tickets remaining unsold. Promoter Marek Lieberberg noted that tickets at the upper and lower price ranges have the most availability, ranging from €79 to €430. Adele’s fans are eagerly anticipating her final shows before she takes a well-deserved break from the music industry.
