**Active Shooter on the Loose in Falls Township, Pennsylvania, Leaves Three Dead**
A sense of fear and urgency grips Falls Township, Pennsylvania, as police have issued a shelter-in-place order following a shooting spree that left at least three people dead. The suspect, identified as 26-year-old Andre Gordon, is on the loose and considered armed and extremely dangerous.
The chaos began around 8:52 a.m. on Saturday when officers responded to reports of a shooting at the unit block of Viewpoint Lane in Levittown. According to Christopher Clark of the Falls Township Police Department, Gordon allegedly shot and killed two individuals at that location before moving on to another block where he killed another person.
Gordon then allegedly carjacked a victim at gunpoint in a Dollar General parking lot in Morrisville before fleeing the scene. Police believe that Gordon knew all of his victims, except for the carjacking victim, and that he is currently homeless with ties to the Trenton, New Jersey area.
Described as approximately 6’1″ with a thin build, Gordon was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and is believed to be armed with a rifle. Authorities are urging residents to stay indoors, lock all doors, and move to a secure location away from windows.
Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro has been briefed on the situation and has directed the Pennsylvania State Police to assist local law enforcement. The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office and other law enforcement agencies are also involved in the investigation.
As the situation unfolds, neighboring Middletown Township has confirmed shootings in Falls Township but stated that the shooter has not entered their jurisdiction. Residents are advised to avoid traveling to Falls Township until further notice.
Representative Brian Fitzpatrick, who represents Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District, is monitoring the situation closely and urging residents to stay safe and alert.
The Bucks County St. Patrick’s Day Parade has been canceled, and several local businesses have temporarily closed in response to the shelter-in-place order. Falls Township, located about 28 miles northeast of Philadelphia, remains on high alert as law enforcement continues their search for the suspect.
This is a developing story, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
