Micha Pycke, 40, and Albane Paret, 39, have transformed their apartment in Ostend into a unique gallery space overlooking the North Sea. The couple, who co-own the arts- and design-focused communications agency Club Paradis, wanted to create a space that was more than just a typical Airbnb or holiday home.
Filled with works by their favorite artists and designers, many of whom are also their clients, the 1,000-square-foot two-bedroom apartment on the eighth floor of a ’60s-era building is a visual feast. From a lacquered wood coffee table by Dutch designer Linde Freya Tangelder’s studio to a copper-colored tapestry by Rooms Studio from Tbilisi, Georgia, every corner of the apartment is adorned with unique pieces.
Guests staying at the apartment can not only enjoy the stunning views of the North Sea but also have the opportunity to purchase the artwork and connect directly with the designers. Rates start at about $305 a night, making it a luxurious yet accessible experience for art and design enthusiasts.
For Pycke and Paret, this apartment is more than just a place to stay – it’s a curated space that offers a new kind of experience for guests. With its blend of art, design, and breathtaking views, Rooms With a North Sea View is a must-visit destination for those looking for a unique and inspiring getaway.
