Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood and artist Sir Grayson Perry have joined forces to support Northleigh House School in Hatton, Warwickshire by donating artwork to a charity postcard auction. The school, which provides a therapeutic teaching environment for children who have faced challenges such as bullying and anxiety, is aiming to raise funds to support existing pupils and expand to a second site nearby.

Wood has penned an inspirational message for the auction, while Sir Grayson has contributed a picture titled “Queen and Cat.” Other notable contributors include designer Patrick Grant and artists Patrick Hughes and David Wightman, offering a diverse range of styles for bidders to choose from.

The auction, organized by Gildings Auctioneers, has received an overwhelming response from artists and bidders alike. With lots starting at £10 and some expected to fetch between £50 and £1,000 each, the event promises to be a success in raising much-needed funds for the school.

Viv Morgan, co-founder of Northleigh House School, expressed her gratitude for the support, stating that the auction will help continue the school’s mission of equipping children with the skills they need to succeed in the outside world. With the number of students seeking places at the school on the rise, the funds raised will play a crucial role in supporting the school’s growth and impact.

The online auction runs until October 6th, giving art enthusiasts and supporters of education the opportunity to bid on unique artworks for a good cause. Don’t miss your chance to own a one-of-a-kind piece while supporting a worthy initiative.
