Katie Price’s Court Hearing Adjourned for Private Interview
Former glamour model Katie Price found herself in hot water once again as she was arrested at Heathrow Airport earlier this month for failing to attend a court hearing related to her bankruptcies. The 46-year-old was due to face questions in court from barristers, but the hearing was adjourned so she could attend a “private interview” instead.
Judge Daniel Schaffer warned Price that she must attend the hearing “with no ifs or buts” and threatened to bring her back into custody if she failed to do so. Price arrived at the Insolvencies and Companies Court wearing all black and sunglasses, but did not speak to reporters as she entered the building.
Her lawyer, Bertie Boer-Roberts, requested the adjournment to allow Price to attend the private interview with the trustee and continue to engage constructively. Price agreed to attend the private hearing scheduled for 24 September.
Price has been declared bankrupt twice, first in 2019 and then again in March of this year due to a tax debt exceeding £750,000. Last week, a judge ruled that her TikTok income would be suspended to help pay off her debts. She has also been ordered to pay 40% of her monthly income from OnlyFans to the trustee for the next three years and deliver six of her vehicles, including a pink Range Rover, to help settle her debts.
As Price left the court on Tuesday, she criticized reporters, calling them “scumbags” and urging them to write a good story. Despite her legal troubles, Price seems determined to work towards resolving her financial issues and moving forward.
