Disgraced actor Armie Hammer addressed a number of allegations during an appearance on “Piers Morgan Uncensored.” The “Call Me by Your Name” star was accused of sexual assault in 2017 by a former girlfriend, who also claimed Hammer raped her “violently” and “for over four hours.” His career derailed following a series of text messages that allegedly detailed sexual fantasies, including references to rape, violence, and cannibalism. They were leaked online by an anonymous Instagram account named “House of Effie.”

During the interview, Hammer denied the cannibalism claims and explained that the conversations were part of a sexually charged relationship with similar proclivities and kinks. He admitted that different people have different sexual fantasies and addressed the idea of cannibalism during role-play as a desire to show complete devotion.

Hammer also addressed allegations from another ex-girlfriend, Paige Lorenze, who accused him of branding her with a knife. Hammer described the incident as a small scenario they had discussed beforehand, comparing it to couples getting tattoos of each other’s initials.

Following the public fallout, Hammer revealed that he attempted suicide before entering a rehabilitation center for drug and alcohol abuse. He denied reports that Robert Downey Jr. had paid for his treatment, stating that while Downey had been supportive, he did not fund his rehab.

The rape allegations against Hammer prompted a nine-month criminal investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department, but prosecutors announced in May 2023 that he would not be charged in the sex assault case. Despite the controversy, Hammer’s family was the subject of a Discovery+ docuseries exploring the accusations against him and the legacy of the Hammer dynasty.

Hammer was dropped from several film projects, including Paramount’s “The Offer” and “Shotgun Wedding” opposite Jennifer Lopez. After leaving treatment, he was reportedly seen selling timeshares in the Cayman Islands.

The interview with Hammer on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” shed light on the actor’s side of the story amid the ongoing controversy surrounding his career and personal life.
