Waterfall Network Makes Waves with Mainnet Launch and $WATER Token Listing

Waterfall Network, a layer one (L1) decentralized and scalable ledger, has officially launched its mainnet with an impressive 2,048 active validators. This milestone comes alongside the listing of the network’s native $WATER token on the popular cryptocurrency exchange Gate.io.

With a focus on Ethereum compatibility and innovative DAG technology, Waterfall Network is poised to revolutionize decentralized smart contract platforms, offering unprecedented scalability and accessibility for developers worldwide.

In a statement, Waterfall Network announced that the $WATER token will soon be listed on more exchanges and integrated with infrastructure providers globally. The network also revealed plans to incentivize validators with grants and rewards, encouraging community-driven security audits and bug bounty completions to enhance the network’s security and reliability.

Sergii Grybniak, CTO of Blue Wave and Head of Research at Waterfall, expressed excitement about the network’s progress, stating, “The strength of the Waterfall Network has surpassed even our most optimistic projections during testnet development. We now look forward to ensuring the community has a great platform to build and grow the network.”

The Waterfall Network protocol, powered by next-generation Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) technology, promises virtually unlimited scalability and portability for decentralized applications (dApps). During testing, the network demonstrated the ability to handle over 10,000 transactions per second across a diverse range of devices.

In addition to its transaction capabilities, Waterfall Network has already integrated with several prominent staking infrastructure providers, with more partnerships in the works. The network’s collaboration with the Google Cloud Web3 Startup Program has been particularly instrumental in its development, showcasing the network’s potential to support over 1.5 million validators.

Last year, Waterfall Network secured $2 million in a Pre-Series A funding round led by ByteTrade Lab, further solidifying its position as a rising star in the blockchain space.

As Waterfall Network continues to enhance decentralization and scalability through protocol upgrades and strategic partnerships, the future looks bright for this innovative blockchain project.
