Hollywood Elites Turn on Biden’s Re-Election Efforts After Debate Performance

In a surprising turn of events, Hollywood elites who have previously supported President Biden are now calling for him to drop out of the race for re-election following a damaging debate performance that raised concerns about his mental competency.

Netflix co-founder and megadonor Reed Hastings, known for his generous contributions to Democratic candidates, including Biden, recently stated that Biden should step aside to allow a more vigorous Democratic leader to take on former President Trump in November.

Similarly, Star Trek screenwriter Damon Lindelof, a lifelong Democrat, expressed disappointment and concern over Biden’s debate performance, calling for the party to select a new nominee. Lindelof even proposed imposing “economic sanctions” on the Democratic Party until a new candidate is chosen.

Disney heiress and film producer Abigail Disney also warned Democrats of the consequences if Biden is not replaced as the nominee, stating that she will stop all contributions to the party until a change is made at the top of the ticket.

Actor and Democrat donor Rob Reiner joined the chorus of voices calling for Biden to withdraw from the race, emphasizing the importance of preserving democracy in the face of a potential loss to Trump.

Despite the growing calls for him to step down, Biden has remained steadfast in his decision to stay in the race, declaring to a 4th of July crowd at the White House that he is “not going anywhere.”

The backlash from Hollywood elites underscores the growing concerns within the Democratic Party about Biden’s ability to secure a victory in the upcoming election. As donors and supporters continue to express their doubts, the future of Biden’s re-election campaign remains uncertain.
